Wind direction will be measure with a wind vane (see
diagram), wind direction is the compass point from which the
wind is coming south, southwest, west etc. The unit of
measurement for wind direction is therefore compass
direction. User plot the wind direction for each day of the
month on a special graph called a wind rose i.e. Wind Vane is
manufactured as per IS:5799:1970 which indicates the
direction of wind at the point of observation.
